The history of the Cercle du Lac
Since 2005, Cercle du Lac has been the premier entrepreneurial meeting hub in the university city of Louvain-la-Neuve.
The organization primarily brings together SME owners, large companies, and entrepreneurs, hosting dedicated events for its members.
Cercle du Lac positions itself as a business hub, with a mission to foster networking, develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and highlight innovation through a rich and diverse event program.
The company offers activities for members, events for non-members, and also operates its own restaurant, "La Table du Cercle du Lac".
Their needs
CERCLE DU LAC wanted to digitize and integrate key processes into a single management tool.
The company aimed to implement:
- Member management and tracking to simplify contributions, invoicing, and communication
-Ability to send newsletters to both members and non-members within the same tool
-Event management, simplifying communication, registration, and billing
- Option for interested individuals to rent meeting rooms and book a table at the restaurant directly via the website
-Tracking member statistics and monitoring Cercle activities
- Enhancing and centralizing social media planning, while also streamlining accounting processes.
Cercle du Lac also wanted to set up a website that would showcase the various events organized, allow users to register, enable members to join the Cercle, provide room rental options, facilitate restaurant table reservations, and grant access to various member-related information.
La solution
We have been working in collaboration with the CERCLE DU LAC team since 2016. Idealis has installed and configured various Odoo modules (Odoo Sales, Odoo e-Invoicing, Odoo Website, Odoo Accounting, Odoo Finance, Odoo Purchasing, Odoo Marketing) to meet their needs. All of this is integrated into a single management tool.
